Portugal Travel Diary | 4 day Lisbon girls trip

At the end of October I had been to Lisbon with a friend from my former study International Business (IBS). We were planning to visit a friend of ours who is studying there for a few months. Yanneke and I flew (standby) to Lisbon. This 4 day trip is for me number 4 of 2019 and my 3rd time in Lisbon. As I have said in many posts, Lisbon is my favorite city trip destination in Europe so far. The many colorful streets with sweet little restaurants keep surprising me. Spain Travel Diary | Second 3 day trip to Valencia

At the end of last month I went to Valencia for the second time. This beautiful city remains a nice hotspot in my eyes for sea, city, shopping and delicious food. I went there with a colleague. Earlier this month, I went on an ‘if place available’ trip with a friend from work. We went to Seville from Eindhoven. This was also my first trip of this year. I went to Valencia with my best friend during my 3 day weekend. This last minute trip was very recent before the end of my 1st flying season and before I leave for Tokyo and is nummer 5 of this year. I try to travel as much as I can if I am able to. I would like to start this travel diary with how much I like this city and how it certainly stole my heart in such a short time. Italy travel diary | mini trip to Florence

2 weeks ago I went to Firenze (Florence) for 2 days. In the end, my very kind colleague Michelle went along on this city trip. From another colleague I got the tip to fly to Pisa and there take the train of about an hour to Florence. We certainly used this tip for the way back, but we went with the shuttle from the airport which takes a bit longer. Both travel ways are very cheap and fast, plus you see a bit of Tuscany. 2 weeks ago I went to Athens with a friend. Our original plan was to go to a different location, but those plans became different last minute. We rebooked everything shortly before the original flight would leave, to a flight to Athens. At the airport we looked at the list of flights that we could book and that would be the first to go to a warm destination. ‘What kind of luggage do we have with us?’ – ‘Only summer clothes’ ‘So, we’ll book the first warm destination that we can book, because why not’. I had 5 days off at work as a flight attendant and once again I wanted to take the opportunity to travel.

One of the reasons that I travel alone is due to my great wanderlust. Moreover, an extra reason is that if I do not manage to get friends / travel companions on a trip, I will still go alone. Anyways, I really like being on my own as well. I like traveling because it gives me a lot of new, special and fun memories and because it is something completely different than my everyday life.
