Tulum is a place where I hear mixed stories from travelers. Many find it overrated and expensive, but for me, it’s my favorite spot in the world. My days in Tulum are usually very relaxed. I often start with a leisurely breakfast or brunch, then head to a cenote or beach, and in the evening, I might have drinks with friends or attend a cool party hosted by one of my DJ friends. I’m fortunate to know many people, have friends in various organizations, and enjoy great collaborations in Tulum – which definitely shapes my experience differently. If I hadn’t stayed at Mayan Monkey in 2022 – in my opinion, the best hostel (next to Meteora) I’ve ever stayed at in Mexico – my life would be completely different right now. [Read more…]
At the end of April, I traveled to Mexico for the fifth time in two years. Yes, you read that right—five times! Mexico has become my ultimate destination, the place I constantly want to return to. The combination of fantastic hospitality, the internationally beloved cuisine (also my favorite!), stunning oceans, lively parties, expats, solo travelers, and the many friends I’ve made here, makes this country incredibly special to me. In Mexico, you can find everything: from the most delicious tacos and margaritas to breathtaking views and a vibrant atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else. Each trip to Mexico is different and brings new adventures and collaborations. That’s why I keep a diary of every trip to share all these experiences and new tips with you. [Read more…]
With the sun kissing my face and the sand embracing my toes, I ventured to the enchanting coastlines of Tulum for an unforgettable outfit shoot. Teaming up with a photographer I know from this magical region, we captured the essence of the ancient goddess style that is so characteristic of this place. The amazing location I was collaborating with for my stay, is called Acacia Tulum. This Airbnb is so absolutely stunning, that I loved using it for pictures. [Read more…]
In the bustling streets of Tulum, where the atmosphere is infused with an eclectic mix of styles, I crafted my own unique look. While not necessarily a fan of the typical hippie style, I am drawn to the elegant boho aesthetic, with a hint of Greek goddess mixed in. It feels like the perfect place to experiment with my personal style, so I delved into my suitcase and donned an outfit I affectionately named ‘Aphrodite.’ [Read more…]
Red isn’t just a color for me; it’s an expression of my inner strength and confidence. Whether it’s my nails flaunting a deep crimson hue, my clothing adding a touch of passion to my ensemble, or my lips cloaked in seductive red lipstick, there’s always a hint of red in my look. It’s not just my favorite color; it’s my secret weapon that gives me a boost of confidence wherever I go. [Read more…]
Despite the presence of seaweed, Tulum remains an enchanting destination to explore. Although seaweed sometimes washes along the coastline, this does not detract from the natural beauty of the beaches and crystal clear waters. Even with this natural challenge, Tulum remains a paradise worth exploring. Soon I will tell you more about my recent 5th trip to Mexico. [Read more…]

Hi everyone! Welcome to the second part of my travel diary! In this part, I will mainly share with you my days in Tulum, and a few days in Playa del Carmen. My travel diaries are a personal diary and travel portfolio to read for you and for myself to read back and remember everything better. In this travel diary, I will share my tips and experiences with you from my last trip, I hope you enjoy reading this! Under the tab ‘Travel – Mexico’ you can find all of my previous Mexico trips. Hi everyone! Welcome back to another travel diary. I’ve been catching up a lot with my blogging because I didn’t want to be too far behind with my travels and uploads. In this travel post, I am going to share all my experiences from last trip. I would like to say that this trip was the best of all 4 trips to Mexico. That’s why I can’t wait to share my tips and experiences with you. Mexico has become my favorite travel destination after visiting 20 countries. What used to be Japan is now Mexico – and years ago I really didn’t expect that I could love a country almost more than Japan. Mexico is an amazing country for solo travel, delicious food, beautiful nature, meeting international people, working remote and a rich culture. No day of my trip is the same! When I first came to Mexico in May 2022 without expectations, I did not expect that I would be there at least 4 times in just over 1.5 years! Are you reading this story along? First of all, I would like to say that due to personal reasons, I have kept certain things personal and have not written them in my travel diary. Some memories are only for the heart, too personal or too emotional to share online with the world ♥[Read more…]
