This morning – day 8 – I flew back to CTG with Avianca. I wanted to be back early for my KLM friend Ilona. She had requested a layover to go on the road with me. We decided to go to Movich hotel together to see the nice view in Cartagena. The weather was very disappointing today and there was massive flooding on the street. After some pictures at Movich, we went for lunch somewhere in the old center. We couldn’t go anywhere because of the weather! A month ago I came back from Mexico. What a journey this was! A very emotional one, but also one that has helped me grow a lot and one where I have met a lot of great people. The beautiful place where I took these photos is on the island of Isla Holbox at beach club Zomay. I’ve had this dress for years and I really wear it in a lot of summer places. This beautiful outfit is my favorite Tulum outfit. I bought this beautiful boho goddess dress a while ago and this is not a collaboration. I got a lot of questions where I got this beautiful dress from, so I decided to make an outfit post of this outfit. I’ve been to this place very often because I’m often backstage at the techno parties because of friends I know. I also stayed here for two nights. Absolutely recommended! Hi everyone! My solo trip to Colombia was really fantastic. During my trip to Mexico, I got inspired by others to take this Colombia trip. I regularly saw cool things from Cartagena on social media and from others, so decided to plan this trip. I am a down to earth person who is not easily scared, but when I found out that I would arrive at my destination in the dark, I got really scared. Especially after I read that it is best not to walk around in the dark on your own, let alone with beautiful jewelry, your phone or other expensive things. This post is the last outfit post I upload from Colombia. With my next trip coming up, I try to put all my travel posts online as soon as possible. I have worn this outfit quite a few times while traveling there, which is why they are not the same in every photo. I think this really is in the top 5 of my favorite travel outfits from this year. The end of the year is not so far from now, but I still have 3 beautiful trips planned. For the 4th time to Lisbon, 3rd time to Valencia and for the second time to Mexico. Very excited! In the meantime I have not even been back for 10 days from my beautiful Colombia trip. I did this outfit shoot together with Karmen Cartagena – this is also really my favorite outfit from Cartagena and I think it fits perfectly with this place. This outfit is from my first full day in Cartagena. It was so much fun! This day I went to explore Getsemani with people I met in my hostel. This trip was so very nice. It was even better than my expectations! I have met countless wonderful people from all over the world, all with their own beautiful story. I can’t wait to see some of them again one day somewhere in the world. The people you get to know often make the journey.
