Hi everyone! I have had this super cute dress for almost 3 years – but unfortunately it has often hung in the closet because I didn’t have many occasions to wear it. This beautiful dress from Diva Catwalk in size M often went with me in my suitcase, but was often too warm to wear. This time the climate in Tulum was a lot cooler than the normal seasons I go, so I finally had the chance to wear it now. The dress gives me the same idea of the iconic dress of Margot Robbie (Naomi) in The Wolf of Wallstreet. I liked her style in that film so much for years that I wanted to have some of the same looks. The photos were again, taken at Meteora – who I often work with. I received this dress in 2021/22 as a collaboration with Diva Catwalk. Hi everyone! This is the first time in 9 years of blogging that I’ve made an outfit post with selfies, haha! I love this outfit and this location (Meteora – the boutique hostel I work with) so much that I took mirror pictures of it because I didn’t really have a good opportunity to take pictures of it outside or for someone else to take them to have it made. Funnily enough, this beautiful dress is from Shein! In combination with accessories from Asos. Both the jewelry and shoes. I love this look and have worn it several times in Mexico – the dress also went with me to Thailand last year. I notice that I want to buy less and less and want to combine more and style differently – and that is why there will be more ‘double’ outfit posts. I sometimes get nice items sponsored + I am grateful to have saved up so much clothing that I want to be much more frugal with it and increasingly prefer to focus on clothing that I can wear for a long time. I like clothes that remain nice for years rather than items that quickly go ‘out of fashion’ – although I always like to follow my own style without necessarily going along with what is a big trend.I think this chic boho look is a look that I like to wear to parties or dinners in Tulum. Every time I come to Mexico I evolve. It feels like the place where my soul comes home and I feel the most confident, happy, grateful and powerful version of myself. Tulum is a place with a lot of magic and surprises that always come to mind when I follow my heart and go back. Cheers to the fact that this 4th time here won’t be my last. It is now my second home. Grateful for the fantastic network I have built here and how this place has become a second home for me since 2022. Whatever the circumstances and whatever comes my way – I haven’t let it stop me from going back, because the universe rewards those with a brave soul. In Tulum, I have the ultimate feeling of being myself. In my style, life and self. I also always wear my favorite outfits in Tulum. By the way, this beautiful location is Meteora Tulum – the boutique hostel I have been working with for a long time and was able to stay during my Tulum visit. Perfect location for photos!

Mexico travel diary (extra long) | 3th solo trip to Tulum

Welcome to my part 2 of my personal travel diary! A little sidenote is that there are a lot more pictures of myself in this post than usual, because I didn’t create outfit posts of all outfits here and decided to combine it in this upload. If you haven’t read part one, you can click here: part one. The last 8 days of this trip I would spend in my favorite place for the 3th time; Tulum. I have to tell you that I was a bit afraid that it would get quite hard because of my personal reason, more hard than the last few days in Mexico. My goal was once again to go right through it to celebrate the love for this place and the wonderful memories I have of this special place. Mexico travel diary | Back to Mexico solo – Mexico city & Puerto Escondido

Today, my journey started with luckily getting a seat at the gate on the flight to Mexico City (CDMX). I was really looking forward to visiting this destination and secretly looking forward to it even more than going back to Japan. I have quite a love for Mexico, so I love to go back often. It was with a double feeling, because of my situation in November. I wanted to move between the pain of a circumstance and the love of this place. The best way to get out of something is to go straight through and into it. I decided to take the bull by its horns, because I don’t want to let something win against me if it can cost or affect me something very beautiful. Last November I already did that with all the strength I had in me. And this journey made me realize how strong and courageous I was last fall, and how that same money goes back for now. The beautiful place of this sunset is in Puerto Escondido. I really liked Puerto, but because my hostel was very disappointing, I found my stay less exiting than I had hoped. It is really completely different from Tulum, but I had a great time there with the travelers I got to know. Personally, I think that Puerto has a lot of nice lunch, coffee, cocktail and food shops! As I have repeated many times on my blog, I think solo travel is the most beautiful thing there is. I am eternally grateful for the wonderful people I have met. I found my first lover (ex), some of my best friends and a lot of learning lessons that have brought me further in life.

I bought this dress vintage on Vinted. I really love the Lavish Alice brand, so I often look for cool pieces of vinted. In combination with a nice red lipstick, it gives me a Marilyn Monroe impression. The place where I took these beautiful pictures is the hostel where I stayed. My last two nights in the private were non-committal for me as a collaboration, and the restaurant where I took one of the photos was also non-committal – this look was for a collaboration. It is official! Tulum is my favorite place in the world. After 3 visits in 11 months, I can certainly confirm that! There is no place in the world where I feel more peaceful and at home, despite my personal circumstances that I have told you about earlier, which are unfortunately connected to this place. You can wear what you want, live how you want, be how you want, and no one judges you. Apart from the fact that Tulum is very expensive in a lot of things, I am grateful to have some collaborations here and to use my crew tickets – which allow me to visit this beautiful place regularly.

In this post, I will also tell about my last days in Mexico, Playa del Carmen, Bacalar and the amazing other things and places I got to experience during my last days here. Chitzen-Itza is one of the wonders of the world that I was eager to visit and hadn’t visited last time. Moreover, I hadn’t crossed off a single wonder of the world so far! I thought I really had to do this during my month here. Basically the most touristy thing you can do in this area, but very cool to experience.
