Hi everyone! Welcome to the continuation of my original Brazil travel diary. In this travel diary, I will share with you my experiences and tips from my unplanned and spontaneous solo trip to Buenos Aires in Argentina. I was also really looking forward to this spontaneous trip, which I also hadn’t planned when I went. Going without a plan and without preparation sometimes brings unexpected, fun surprises. Thailand travel diary | 6 days in Krabi, Phangnga & Phuket part 2
Welcome back to Part 2! I knew it was rain season, but I didn’t expect how extremely rainy it would be this whole trip. Minor spoiler; the rest of the journey was nothing but incessant rain! So take the rainy season in July seriously. Basically, we could do almost nothing today. This post is mainly pictures of the few things we could do, because we were literally ‘stuck’ in the rain. Furthermore, I think Thailand is a beautiful country with incredibly warm, sweet people! The hospitality and safety here are very nice. [Lees meer…]
Thailand travel diary | Solo trip to Bangkok part 1
A few weeks ago I went on a trip to Bangkok. I felt strongly that this was going to be an amazing trip. Originally, I would go on a 6-7 day trip with my best friend Roos, who lives in Abu Dhabi – but this felt too short for me. In 3 years time, I have seen Roos in real life for 4 hours – which was in Dubai last April by ‘sort of’ coincidence. From her departure station Abu Dhabi, it is about 6 hours flying time and from Amsterdam 12 hours straight. Because of the longer distance, I wanted to stay for more days than that anyway. Due to the 2 hour delay on my working flight, I would no longer be able to catch the KLM flight in the evening directly to BKK. I decided to fly to Dubai with Emirates. [Lees meer…]
Mexico travel diary (extra long) | 3th solo trip to Tulum
Welcome to my part 2 of my personal travel diary! A little sidenote is that there are a lot more pictures of myself in this post than usual, because I didn’t create outfit posts of all outfits here and decided to combine it in this upload. If you haven’t read part one, you can click here: part one. The last 8 days of this trip I would spend in my favorite place for the 3th time; Tulum. I have to tell you that I was a bit afraid that it would get quite hard because of my personal reason, more hard than the last few days in Mexico. My goal was once again to go right through it to celebrate the love for this place and the wonderful memories I have of this special place. On the other hand, I had also really looked forward to being back in Tulum! [Lees meer…]
Mexico travel diary | Back to Mexico solo – Mexico city & Puerto Escondido
Today, my journey started with luckily getting a seat at the gate on the flight to Mexico City (CDMX). I was really looking forward to visiting this destination and secretly looking forward to it even more than going back to Japan. I have quite a love for Mexico, so I love to go back often. It was with a double feeling, because of my situation in November. I wanted to move between the pain of a circumstance and the love of this place. The best way to get out of something is to go straight through and into it. I decided to take the bull by its horns, because I don’t want to let something win against me if it can cost or affect me something very beautiful. Last November I already did that with all the strength I had in me. And this journey made me realize how strong and courageous I was last fall, and how that same money goes back for now. It’s not the place that hurt me, and I want to protect and appreciate the love for that place with all my power. [Lees meer…]
Outfit | Puerto
The beautiful place of this sunset is in Puerto Escondido. I really liked Puerto, but because my hostel was very disappointing, I found my stay less exiting than I had hoped. It is really completely different from Tulum, but I had a great time there with the travelers I got to know. Personally, I think that Puerto has a lot of nice lunch, coffee, cocktail and food shops! As I have repeated many times on my blog, I think solo travel is the most beautiful thing there is. I am eternally grateful for the wonderful people I have met. I found my first lover (ex), some of my best friends and a lot of learning lessons that have brought me further in life.

Outfit | Hills
Hi everyone! I literally posted this blog post from Tokyo! I am currently here for the 3rd time on holiday (solo). I got this beautiful neon dress from my sister. It fits really small, so I wear an L with my size 36. The place where I am here is Roppongi Hills – Tokyo cityview. This viewpoint was still on my list, so I visited this place with a friend who lives in Japan. Entrance to this place, including the open platform, costs 2500 yen. These photos are also from today. I am very happy that Japan’s borders have been open again since a few months, so I decided to go back to Tokyo for 9 days during my 5 weeks of part-time and vacation. At the moment, I still have 3 days to go before I am back in the Netherlands. [Lees meer…]
Mexico travel diary | one month solo in Mexico part 2
This morning on November 22 started with an extensive brunch with Cyni at Ki’bok coffee in La Veleta – next to Tulum jungle gym, where I went with my rented bike from my hostel. I have to tell you that I reach almost everything here in Mexico within the villages by bicycle. We ate divinely delicious chilaquiles at this place – which I definitely want to come back for! After lunch we would go with Cyni’s friends to Vagalume, where they also allowed me to enter without an entrance fee and without a minimum spend. Via google maps I followed my way on my bike alone through quite remote roads and I have to tell you that I found that the only time I didn’t feel safe – and that during the day! In the end I suffered on the beach with Cyni’s dear friends – Vagalume is a cool high-end beach club that is known for the ‘hands’ that many people take pictures with. It was very nice to have a drink and relax here. [Lees meer…]
Outfit | Vanilla

I’ve been back for almost two months now, and I’m going again in two months. Mexico is one of my favorite pieces of beauty in the world. I’m going to shoot alot upcoming time and also have nice projects and trips on the schedule. I hope everything is going well with you too. [Lees meer…]
