Beauty Pageant Diary | Finalist at Miss Universe Netherlands (Noord-Brabant)

When I found out that, due to the new organization and my age, I had one last chance to compete in Miss Universe Netherlands (Miss Universe Noord-Brabant), I knew I had to take it. After two incredibly challenging years, I had promised myself that 2025 would be the year I took the leap—grabbing every opportunity that brings me closer to my dreams and to change my life. What made this competition extra special was that I once again achieved a milestone. I became the first-ever active Dutch flight attendant to compete as a finalist for an international beauty pageant crown—and in 2020/2021, I did the same at the Dutch Miss World. As the only and first active flight attendant (in the Netherlands and at my airline) to accomplish this, I proudly broke barriers in the industry, paving the way for those who may follow in my footsteps. With the sun kissing my face and the sand embracing my toes, I ventured to the enchanting coastlines of Tulum for an unforgettable outfit shoot. Teaming up with a photographer I know from this magical region, we captured the essence of the ancient goddess style that is so characteristic of this place. The amazing location I was collaborating with for my stay, is called Acacia Tulum. This Airbnb is so absolutely stunning, that I loved using it for pictures.

Photoshoot Report | Portrait portfolio shoots

Hi everyone! It was time for another nice portfolio post. I am now already at 2 agencies and I am going to register with the Chamber of Commerce to be able to do more as a freelancer. It has been a bit quieter in terms of shoots lately because winter is the most quiet period in terms of shoots. The bridal season will start again in spring, so I have quite a few things planned for March and April as well. The upcoming shoots are not collaborations / portfolio shoots, but assignments again. I feel very grateful when I have another shoot like this beautiful shoot on my schedule. The result is often even better than I already expected. Beauty pageant Diary | Miss Netherlands (Miss World) finale

After an intensive year, the final of Miss World Netherlands is a fact. I’ve grown a lot as a woman and often stepped out of my comfort zone (I love). I didn’t win myself, but my good friend Dilay Willemstein was allowed to take home the beautiful crown, which Brenda Muste handed over to her. I am grateful that because of something ‘negative’ like corona, I was able to take a chance next to my beautiful, irregular job. Because we were all temporarily on the ground due to the freeze and travel ban, I was able to make this period something else special. Where one door closes, another door opens. This post is to share the last pictures of the final evening and as a short summary.
