Hola everyone! This is already my sixth solo trip to Mexico, and yet this country continues to captivate me in ways that are hard to describe. The first time I came here in 2022, I instantly fell in love. Since then, I’ve returned time and time again, and now I’m embarking on another Mexican adventure. The last time I stayed here for such a long period was in 2022. Back then, I spent over 3.5 weeks, but for a different reason—I was with someone from Mexico. From that moment on, everything changed. Hey everyone! This outfit was definitely my favorite look during my last trip to Mexico, and I even have it in coral red. It gave me major Princess Jasmine vibes, and I got that comment from people a lot! My color palette is a ‘bright spring,’ so bright colors like this one suit me perfectly. I love pairing them with shades like hot pink, orange, red, yellow, and green – and you’ll often see these colors in my outfits.

UAE mini travel diary | 4 day best friend visit in Abu Dhabi

Hi everyone! Earlier this month, I flew to Abu Dhabi for less than 4 days to visit my best friend. Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates, and together with Dubai the largest city in the country. Our friendship is rock solid, despite all the distance. I believe that distance only separates us physically, but not in heart and soul. Abu Dhabi is a place I had never visited before, except for 12 hours between two flights. That was also the last time I saw Roos. Hi everyone! I bought this bandage dress in 2018, from one of my very first stewardess salaries I remember. I always wanted a dress that reminded me of Margot Robbie’s blue dress in The Wolf of Wall Street, and I thought this one came close at the time. By the way, I don’t have any pictures of the back, but the back is a corset. The store where I bought it is unfortunately bankrupt. I have to admit that it is not a dress that you can wear comfortably all day.

Turkey travel diary | 4 day family visit in Istanbul

Hi everyone! In July I visited my youngest aunt in Istanbul for about 4 days. As some of you may not know, I am 75% Dutch and 25% Turkish from my father’s side. Unfortunately I don’t speak the language, but we always try to find our way with some German or Google Translate. A large part of my family (my father’s side) is Turkish (originally from the Trabzon – Black Sea region, back in the bloodline probably Russian descendants which is quite visible in the appearance within our family) and live in Turkey and Germany. During the trip I didn’t spend a lot of time creating content, and anyway I have always been very conscious in creating content. Sometimes I see friends/others who are so obsessed with creating content or deeply forcing certain photos/content that the entire trip passes them by, it takes up hours and also removes all attention from being in the now. Everyone has their own thing of course, but I think it is a shame when so much time and consciousness is lost in this way. That’s why I only posted everything from this trip afterwards. [Lees meer…]

Hi everyone! It’s time for a new travel diary. A few weeks ago, I travelled to Canada – a country high on my wish list. I wanted to visit the beautiful nature, lakes and hiking areas, but the reason for my visit this time was for something else. I have family living in Canada who come to the Netherlands every 2-3 years, and by now a lot of travel friends in and around Toronto and other places in Canada. Enough reasons to visit the country! I only planned a short visit, so I would spend 4 nights with my family, and 4 in Toronto. I will definitely tell more about this adventure in this travel diary. Hi everyone! I haven’t made any content for a long time due to circumstances, but slowly there is some light at the end of the tunnel! My body shape changed this year, so I try to get the old one back and adapt to it right now. My best friend Jeremy took pictures again that I really needed to feel better about myself. I received this beautiful dress from The Pretty Dress Company, who I often work with. I love old money and classy styling, so this dress fits perfectly in my wardrobe.
