Beauty pageant Diary | Miss Netherlands (Miss World) finale

After an intensive year, the final of Miss World Netherlands is a fact. I’ve grown a lot as a woman and often stepped out of my comfort zone (I love). I didn’t win myself, but my good friend Dilay Willemstein was allowed to take home the beautiful crown, which Brenda Muste handed over to her. I am grateful that because of something ‘negative’ like corona, I was able to take a chance next to my beautiful, irregular job. Because we were all temporarily on the ground due to the freeze and travel ban, I was able to make this period something else special. Where one door closes, another door opens. This post is to share the last pictures of the final evening and as a short summary.

Special Diary | Miss World Nederland bridal & kimono shoot

Currently, I am in the Miss World Netherlands journey for 9 months already, and I also enjoy creating online diaries about the journey after a certain amount of time within it. Last October I went to Selsela (Weddingwear Selsela) in Haarlem for a fitting appointment for a wedding dress. A cool bridal shoot was planned, but it took place a few weeks ago (while respecting the corona regulations), because we went into lockdown for months back in October. I took a nice photo with my phone of the beautiful dress during the fitting appointment, which we started shooting months later. Special Diary | Finalist journey at Miss World Nederland, Shoots & Airline Documentary part 4

Hi everyone. I create a special diary every x number of weeks / months. During my participation in the Miss World (Netherlands) pageant, I experience a lot of things and events ofcourse. To begin with; the final has been moved from March to the beginning of the summer. So I will still be busy with the Miss World Netherlands journey for another few months. Even though we are in lockdown, I am still occupied with it several days a week. As well, I have some media tasks from my airline, individual shoots, and Miss World NL (meetings). Lizzy and I are working on our stop-bullying project in small steps, which unfortunately is not a large project due to the lockdown. I also get a lot of opportunities from my airline, such as becoming part of a Covid-19 documentary and here and there small fun activities and assignments. [Lees meer…]

To start this post, I can finally announce that I am a finalist at Miss World Netherlands, so it has been very busy recently. I am lucky that the entire Miss World Netherlands journey has the perfect timing with our low amount of flights in recent months. Hi everyone! I made a short post because I want to share something that I am super excited about and kept it a secret for a while. On July 15 I was chosen as a Miss World Nederland semi-finalist! With the last 20 girls I am currently in a super fun journey to become a finalist for Miss World Netherlands 2020/21, The winner go to Miss World next year to represent the Netherlands.
