Hi everyone! This week I went on a trip to Madrid, a place that had been calling me for a long time and was high on my list. I started the trip in Valencia, visiting a nearby village because one of my best travel friends, Mathilde, recently moved there with her boyfriend. The trip was fun, but also challenging. I traveled long distances every day to see everyone, plus because of a friend in South America who I let go of at a film festival (no gatekeeping here, lol) – but despite that, I had a great trip. Earlier this month, I went to visit one of my best friends in Valencia. At that moment it was the 4th time that I visit Valencia. I have been thinking about moving to Valencia for years, because it is easier as a flight attendant, and I am still in the Netherlands a lot at that point. But let’s see what the future brings! Hi everyone. Lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my favorite dress of the moment. Every now and then you can treat yourself to something nice from a ‘somewhat higher price category’ – I say to myself, because I don’t do that very often to be very honest. I saw this beautiful dress hanging on the shelf a few months ago and the dress stayed in my head for a very long time. I decided to order it in size EU36 and am very happy with it! The fabric is very nice, and I really like the color. I will be wearing this dress often! I didn’t have a lot of photos from Ibiza for an outfit post, but I collected some here and there to make one anyway. Whether for a nice dinner, as cocktails, as wine, as lunch, as a party… you name it, this dress is very suitable. In the Netherlands, I often wear it with black block heels and my favorite black bag. Hi everyone. The moment I make this post, I’m finally in Mexico! This outfit is from my Ibiza trip from earlier this month. I think it’s really cool how many neon colors I see coming back in collections this year, and this dress is one of them. In Dubai last year I wore something in this same cool color. I really like this dress and have had it in my closet for a few months now. In the Netherlands I don’t often have the opportunity to put on such cool dresses in my spare time, but on holiday I like to unpack! These photos were taken in front of my hotel swimming pool. I was in a nice quiet spot in Cala Llonga, quite a distance from all the partying. I came to Ibiza with the intention of relaxing, seeing the beautiful island, eating good food and touring with a car. These plans certainly worked! The same goes for Mexico. Hi everyone! After almost 3 years (time flies so fast!), I was once again in Seville for a moment. This was all last minute. I bought this beautiful suit in Faro, where we had landed for the start of our mini road trip. We walked past a boutique and Joelle said the suit behind the window was really my thing, once inside I bought the same suit, but in my favorite color, red. Joelle bought the same suit in a different color, the one behind the window. We had packed summer clothes for Mexico, so had to quickly buy something nice and warmer. I have just returned from a 3-day spontaneous trip in my weekend with my good friend Michelle. In 2018 we also went to Florence together. The trip really recharged me. We ate, drank, walked and cycled a lot and took many photos. The weather was really great! It was around 22 degrees celcius. I can consider myself as a lucky person because I had forgotten my camera in the taxi, and because the taxi driver had given us a business card, I was able to call him in time to head back to the airport. When I opened the taxi door, when he came back after my phone call, the camera was still there on the seat and I thanked him a hundred times for returning asap. THANK HEAVENS. [Lees meer…]
