Hi everyone, I hope you are in good health and a good mood. Last week I looked at some pictures from 2018, it has been exactly 2 years since I got my wing and officially became a Stewardess. I can’t wait to fly again and hope it will be soon from the bottom of my heart. This week I also rebooked my holiday from May to September. About the outfit – I own the heels and body for about 5 years, this suit is new. As you can see in other posts, I literally own it in 6 different colors. Hi everyone! I hope you can keep yourself busy during these weird times. I try to shoot some outfits, because that is still allowed during the 1,5 meters rule, so no man overboard in this. I can keep myself busy luckily. My car has a huge dent because I had lent it to somebody – that is something I can cry about atm. But that too can be repaired properly (I hope). Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well in this world wide, weird time. I haven’t flown a lot lately due to the world wide crisis. Some of the only flights I have performed were repatriation (rescue) flights, to bring people back to the Netherlands safely. I hope this weird period will be over soon in the world. Fortunately, we are still allowed to leave our house for a walk here in the Netherlands, with sufficient distance. Jeremy (my best friend) and I decided to go for a walk in a park nearby, where I also took pictures of an outfit 3 years ago. Jeremy brought his camera and took pictures of this outfit – after 3 years of not shooting me. Spain Travel Diary | 3 day getaway to Malaga

Last week I went to Malaga with my good friend and colleague Michelle. This city trip was a last minute decision, so that made it even more fun. We decided to relax for 3 days in a much warmer city to catch up, because we hadn’t seen each other for a few months. On March 4 we flew to Malaga with a very nice crew from our home base Eindhoven Airport, Standby. I had a three-day weekend, so as I had done before, a city trip suited perfectly. We arrived in the evening so we changed our outfit in our AirBnb apartment and then went out for dinner. By the way, our Airbnb was called Malaga City Breaks. I have just returned from a 3-day spontaneous trip in my weekend with my good friend Michelle. In 2018 we also went to Florence together. The trip really recharged me. We ate, drank, walked and cycled a lot and took many photos. The weather was really great! It was around 22 degrees celcius. I can consider myself as a lucky person because I had forgotten my camera in the taxi, and because the taxi driver had given us a business card, I was able to call him in time to head back to the airport. When I opened the taxi door, when he came back after my phone call, the camera was still there on the seat and I thanked him a hundred times for returning asap. THANK HEAVENS. [Lees meer…]

Being a Stewardess | 3 day Dubai Layover

Welcome to my first layover diary and my second Stewardess post! As I have told in my other post, my work is my passion and I like to share some nice things about it. About a week and a half ago I was allowed to go to Dubai for 3 days with a nice crew, flying from Amsterdam. I already knew the cabin crew colleagues from Eindhoven and Amsterdam, so that was of course extra fun. Dubai had long been on my wish list. The airline where I work for mainly has ’turnarounds’, so a layover is of course a very nice extra for a lot of people. Many people certainly look forward to it like me. A few days ago I had my first layover abroad. Dubai is a cool city! I was able to spend 3 days with a great crew and one of my very best friends who lives an hour away from Dubai. Where I am standing is at La Mer, where we had lunch with the girls, recommended by my good friend Roos. This nice dress is well suited for days when the temperature is around 20 degrees.
