Spain Travel Diary | 3 day getaway to Malaga

Last week I went to Malaga with my good friend and colleague Michelle. This city trip was a last minute decision, so that made it even more fun. We decided to relax for 3 days in a much warmer city to catch up, because we hadn’t seen each other for a few months. On March 4 we flew to Malaga with a very nice crew from our home base Eindhoven Airport, Standby. I had a three-day weekend, so as I had done before, a city trip suited perfectly. We arrived in the evening so we changed our outfit in our AirBnb apartment and then went out for dinner. By the way, our Airbnb was called Malaga City Breaks. I have just returned from a 3-day spontaneous trip in my weekend with my good friend Michelle. In 2018 we also went to Florence together. The trip really recharged me. We ate, drank, walked and cycled a lot and took many photos. The weather was really great! It was around 22 degrees celcius. I can consider myself as a lucky person because I had forgotten my camera in the taxi, and because the taxi driver had given us a business card, I was able to call him in time to head back to the airport. When I opened the taxi door, when he came back after my phone call, the camera was still there on the seat and I thanked him a hundred times for returning asap. THANK HEAVENS. [Lees meer…]

Spain Travel Diary | Second 3 day trip to Valencia

At the end of last month I went to Valencia for the second time. This beautiful city remains a nice hotspot in my eyes for sea, city, shopping and delicious food. I went there with a colleague. We arrived halfway through the afternoon and went there by Standby seats (flying for a reduced price for flight attendants). The first day was relaxed. Earlier this month, I went on an ‘if place available’ trip with a friend from work. We went to Seville from Eindhoven. This was also my first trip of this year. Yesterday evening, I came back from a 4 day city trip with a friend from work. We had days off at the same time, so we decided to go on a city trip to Seville together. We chose really good days in terms of weather, because it was certainly around 27 degrees, so that meant: summer dresses! Hi everyone! From my trip to Valencia a while ago, I still had some outfit photos that I had never posted in the end. You may have seen some pictures of this dress in my Valencia travel post. I made a bonus mini outfit post afterwards. I really liked Valencia and only a week later I was already on the plane to Tokyo, where I had picked these photos and still decided to create a mini travel post. To be honest, I found this outfit a lot more better with a pair of strap heels, but if I cycle as much as I did on this short trip, that’s just not wise.
