Hi everyone, my last outfit post was a while ago. I have had quite a month. Quarantine, testing, sick family, but also a lot of good news, fortunately. I like to keep that positivity in these times. I’ve had a lot of Miss World shoots recently and some new Miss World behind the scenes posts are coming online on my blog. Also have a number of flights on my schedule! Last week I made my longest flying day ever, seemed a bit like a “tour de Europe”. Eindhoven-Paris-Paphos-Amsterdam-Taxi Eindhoven. Did an Alicante flight this week and another 2 days later. When I drive past Schiphol in the early morning, or late at night after Miss World, and see the illuminated runways, I still feel those butterflies in my stomach. Schiphol is a magical place that I have admired since my childhood. A gateway to new adventures and special stories, I always wanted to be a part of that. As you may have seen in a lot of my blog posts, I love wearing suits. I bought a lot of things with discount at the time at a luxury fashion web shop that I have loved for a long time already. Great deal I thought! Lots of clothes that are normally very expensive, for a lot less. I had to pay 105 euros import charges eventually due to Brexit. Painful, but luckily everything fits and looks great, so I accepted it. This great suit has a “corset look” which I think is super cool. I bought all these cool clothes for Miss World workshops, in addition to the dresses that they gave us ourselves. It is also wonderful that we can “go” outside again with this fantastic weather! Special Diary | Finalist journey at Miss World Nederland, Shoots & Airline Documentary part 4

Hi everyone. I create a special diary every x number of weeks / months. During my participation in the Miss World (Netherlands) pageant, I experience a lot of things and events ofcourse. To begin with; the final has been moved from March to the beginning of the summer. So I will still be busy with the Miss World Netherlands journey for another few months. Even though we are in lockdown, I am still occupied with it several days a week. As well, I have some media tasks from my airline, individual shoots, and Miss World NL (meetings). Lizzy and I are working on our stop-bullying project in small steps, which unfortunately is not a large project due to the lockdown. I also get a lot of opportunities from my airline, such as becoming part of a Covid-19 documentary and here and there small fun activities and assignments. [Lees meer…]

Hi everyone! Here is my 2nd outfit from the collaboration with Jurkjes.com. No matter how cold it is, I love dresses. You won’t see me in pants very often either. Except for special trousers or a suit. How I am looking forward to finally have a glass of wine or something at a café one day. I’m afraid it could take months, unfortunately, but I look forward to the day when it can hopefully be done again. Fortunately, I am enjoying myself! By the way, I recently shopped online a lot, so it’s great to receive all those packages again. Also called up for a flight this week, so in a little over 2 weeks I flew 4 times. Quite a lot for this time! Tomorrow a dress shoot with my best friend, this weekend busy with Miss World, next week a video recording with my airline Transavia.. Enough to do! Hi everyone! Horrible.. that lockdown. It takes us a long time to get back to normal life .. The good news is that I have plenty to do with good friends, have had 3 flights in the past 2 weeks, and have something to keep me busy every day. I hope you are all doing well! Keep yourself tough! Yesterday I went to take pictures in Amsterdam with Laura, a friend within my Miss World Netherlands group. We had planned this together for a long time! It was great fun together! Café’s and Restaurants are still closed, but there is still a lot of life and things to do in Amsterdam. Amsterdam is less than a 45-50 minute drive for me from Den Bosch, so in principle I am there pretty quickly. By the way, I am here on the dam, which is normally very crowded. [Lees meer…]

Portugal Travel Diary | 3 day trip to Lagos in the Algarve

I went to Lagos in the Algarve with my good friend Michelle, this trip had been planned for months. In this travel diary I give tips and tell you what we have discovered, done and seen in this 3 day trip at the beginning of Oktober. It sounds short, but by reading you will see how much we were able to see, do and relax in such a short time. The weather was clear and between 25-30 degrees all day, great!
