Hi everyone! How are you? I am doing well because it looks like I can do what makes me very happy again soon – my job as a Stewardess! Café’s and restaurants will also open next week, so I have already made a few reservations. Saturday I will order take-out lunch from Frenchie Café with two colleagues. These cool sunglasses are new and I bought this as a present for myself this month. My sister has the same pair of sunglasses, but in a slightly different model. Hi everyone! I hope you can keep yourself busy during these weird times. I try to shoot some outfits, because that is still allowed during the 1,5 meters rule, so no man overboard in this. I can keep myself busy luckily. My car has a huge dent because I had lent it to somebody – that is something I can cry about atm. But that too can be repaired properly (I hope). I have just returned from a 3-day spontaneous trip in my weekend with my good friend Michelle. In 2018 we also went to Florence together. The trip really recharged me. We ate, drank, walked and cycled a lot and took many photos. The weather was really great! It was around 22 degrees celcius. I can consider myself as a lucky person because I had forgotten my camera in the taxi, and because the taxi driver had given us a business card, I was able to call him in time to head back to the airport. When I opened the taxi door, when he came back after my phone call, the camera was still there on the seat and I thanked him a hundred times for returning asap. THANK HEAVENS. [Lees meer…]
Welcome to my first layover diary and my second Stewardess post! As I have told in my other post, my work is my passion and I like to share some nice things about it. About a week and a half ago I was allowed to go to Dubai for 3 days with a nice crew, flying from Amsterdam. I already knew the cabin crew colleagues from Eindhoven and Amsterdam, so that was of course extra fun. Dubai had long been on my wish list. The airline where I work for mainly has ’turnarounds’, so a layover is of course a very nice extra for a lot of people. Many people certainly look forward to it like me. A few days ago I had my first layover abroad. Dubai is a cool city! I was able to spend 3 days with a great crew and one of my very best friends who lives an hour away from Dubai. Where I am standing is at La Mer, where we had lunch with the girls, recommended by my good friend Roos. This nice dress is well suited for days when the temperature is around 20 degrees. The place where I am standing here is called Dotonbori. This place is known for the large “Glico Man” that you can see behind me. This is probably also the most touristic photo spot of Osaka, haha. Lisbon is my favorite city trip destination in Europe as I have probably told you before. The colorful streets and all those cute places keep surprising me. I bought this cute dot dress in sale at Loavies. I wanted to bring a nice new dress to Lisbon last minute, so I chose this one. Where I am standing here, is at Pink Street near Cais do Sodre.
