Tulum is a place where I hear mixed stories from travelers. Many find it overrated and expensive, but for me, it’s my favorite spot in the world. My days in Tulum are usually very relaxed. I often start with a leisurely breakfast or brunch, then head to a cenote or beach, and in the evening, I might have drinks with friends or attend a cool party hosted by one of my DJ friends. I’m fortunate to know many people, have friends in various organizations, and enjoy great collaborations in Tulum – which definitely shapes my experience differently. At the end of April, I traveled to Mexico for the fifth time in two years. Yes, you read that right—five times! Mexico has become my ultimate destination, the place I constantly want to return to. The combination of fantastic hospitality, the internationally beloved cuisine (also my favorite!), stunning oceans, lively parties, expats, solo travelers, and the many friends I’ve made here, makes this country incredibly special to me. With the sun kissing my face and the sand embracing my toes, I ventured to the enchanting coastlines of Tulum for an unforgettable outfit shoot. Teaming up with a photographer I know from this magical region, we captured the essence of the ancient goddess style that is so characteristic of this place. The amazing location I was collaborating with for my stay, is called Acacia Tulum. This Airbnb is so absolutely stunning, that I loved using it for pictures.
