Hellooooo, welcome back to my blog, or welcome if you’re new! To get straight to the point; I think I haven’t worn this dress for an hour in the heat of Zakynthos. I had to take pictures of this cool outfit. I’ve had this dress hanging at home for at least one or a one and a half years, and I really wanted to photograph it on vacation. All outfits on my blog are also complete outfits that I actually wear and have worn on a trip. But I wore this purely for the photo because I no longer had the opportunity on vacation to wear it for dinner. I did intend to wear it when Iris and I went out to dinner, so I would honestly wear it too! But I didn’t have the chance because of our busy schedule in Greece. We didn’t come back to the hotel in between to change. So it was on and off with this nice outfit unfortunately. And oh, there are a lot of Zakynthos posts coming up! Hi everyone! Just got back from my 3 day leisure trip to Split last night, did a working flight to Malaga this morning, and already posted an outfit online from my trip! I recieved a lot of positive comments about this princess-like outfit, so I wanted it to be the first to be upload. I love this color! I was secretly not very fond of this color before, until I gave it a try, and since then I’ve really loved it! I find it really suitable for a holiday abroad so perfect for my last minute to Split. Hi everyone, I just got back from Dubai for a while. After my work layover last year, I really wanted to go back. I have a 2.5 week vacation, and decided to go to Dubai for about 4,5 days. Two friends, including one that I would visit there, canceled last minute. I decided to go anyway, because I could stay with an former colleague in her airbnb, and she was also solo for part of her trip. It has been really fun! And I am happy to travel again after 7 months. Hi everyone! I have just returned from a fantastic trip to the Algarve with one of my very best friends – Michelle. I felt very happy and really enjoyed the 3 days in beautiful southern Portugal. It felt like a gift. Soon, I will tell you a lot more about this in my upcoming travel diary. There are a lot of travel outfit posts coming online as well! Stay tuned. When I look at my photos and edit them from behind my laptop while relaxing with a cup of coffee, I still feel those butterflies which the trip gave me!

Hi everyone! I hope you can keep yourself busy during these weird times. I try to shoot some outfits, because that is still allowed during the 1,5 meters rule, so no man overboard in this. I can keep myself busy luckily. My car has a huge dent because I had lent it to somebody – that is something I can cry about atm. But that too can be repaired properly (I hope). Spain Travel Diary | 3 day getaway to Malaga

Last week I went to Malaga with my good friend and colleague Michelle. This city trip was a last minute decision, so that made it even more fun. We decided to relax for 3 days in a much warmer city to catch up, because we hadn’t seen each other for a few months. On March 4 we flew to Malaga with a very nice crew from our home base Eindhoven Airport, Standby. I had a three-day weekend, so as I had done before, a city trip suited perfectly. We arrived in the evening so we changed our outfit in our AirBnb apartment and then went out for dinner. By the way, our Airbnb was called Malaga City Breaks. I have just returned from a 3-day spontaneous trip in my weekend with my good friend Michelle. In 2018 we also went to Florence together. The trip really recharged me. We ate, drank, walked and cycled a lot and took many photos. The weather was really great! It was around 22 degrees celcius. I can consider myself as a lucky person because I had forgotten my camera in the taxi, and because the taxi driver had given us a business card, I was able to call him in time to head back to the airport. When I opened the taxi door, when he came back after my phone call, the camera was still there on the seat and I thanked him a hundred times for returning asap. THANK HEAVENS. [Lees meer…]

A few days ago I had my first layover abroad. Dubai is a cool city! I was able to spend 3 days with a great crew and one of my very best friends who lives an hour away from Dubai. Where I am standing is at La Mer, where we had lunch with the girls, recommended by my good friend Roos. This nice dress is well suited for days when the temperature is around 20 degrees. Japan travel diary | 2019 Solo trip to Japan part 3

I cropped this last part of my 14 day trip into one post as I haven’t taken many photos in the last few days there. This is day 9 to 14. One of the last days I heard from a KLM flight attendant that my standby travel flight was as good as full, so I booked an extra night in my hostel in Tokyo and converted the KLM IPB flight to a new one day later. This day I went to Kyoto again from Osaka, this time with Yuka. Osaka and Kyoto are not long apart by public transport, I believe half an hour, so no other hostel was needed. Yuka and I have known each other since 2013 and have seen each other in the Netherlands and last year in Japan as well. [Lees meer…]
