June this year, out of the girls that are a part of the F for fashion show of 2015, I have been chosen out of the group of new models to be one of the two models for the poster/promotional shoot of the Wedding fashion show. This is together with a model that has already been part of one of the previous shows.
Juni dit jaar, van alle meisjes die een deel zijn van de F for fashion show van 2015, ben ik gekozen uit de groep van nieuwe modellen om een van de twee modellen te zijn voor de poster/promotie shoot van de ‘The Wedding’ Fashion show. Dit is samen met iemand die ook een model is geweest voor een van de vorige shows.
For the photoshoot, we were asked not to put on any make-up on due to the make-up and hair that would be done at the foto shoot location later. After a cup of coffee and chatting with everybody, our MUAH started by doing our hair. My hair was put into a half loose half up hairstyle with curls.
For my make-up she decided to give me dark red lips with a hint of purple because of my dress. My eyes got natural colours with a little amount of mascara. On my cheeks I got a slight hint of a pink blush with a little brown mixed through it. This was in my opinion a very beautiful make-up look, and so was the hair!

Voor de shoot, was aan ons gevraagd geen make-up op te doen wegens de visagie die gedaan zou worden op de locatie. Na een kop koffie en kletsen met iedereen, begon onze visagiste met ons haar. Mijn haar was in een half los, half vast kapsel verandert met krullen. Voor mijn make-up besloot ze me donker rode lippen te geven met een hint van paars wegens mijn jurk. Mijn ogen kregen natuurlijke tinten met een beetje mascara. Op mijn wangen kreeg ik een erg zachte tint van roze, gemengt met bruin als boventoon. Dit was in mijn mening een prachtige make-up look, en ook het kapsel
After having diner with everybody of the crew, we got to wear our specialized dress. Our photographer: Bob Mans, arrived a short while after that together with his girlfriend.

Na onze avondmaaltijd met de groep, kregen we onze op maat gemaakte jurken aan. Onze fotograaf: Bob Mans, kwam een kort moment later met zijn vriendin binnen. Het team hielp ons met het tillen van onze jurken op weg naar de buitenplaats waar de shoot zou plaatsvinden.
The Lexus arrived and then we could start the shoot. Our photographer told us how to pose to check which pose would look best for the photo.
Na de aankomst van de Lexus konden we met de shoot beginnen. Onze fotograaf vertelde hoe we moesten poseren en we namen een aantal verschillende positief aan om te kijken wat het beste zou uitpakken voor de foto.
When we got to see a preview of the picture, which was quite like this due to the filter lens which created the coloured background, everybody of the F for Fashion team got very exited, I was so amazed!
This has been my most amazing photoshoot ever, and the one I am most thankfull about.
I can not explain how amazing it feels to, as a person that has been bullied for the biggest part of her life (I am very open about this), to have your face on a big poster spread across alot of places in your hometown (which is one of the larger cities in the Netherlands) And not only on a big poster, it has been visible in the News Paper of my town, on flyers, websites and many on other things like the huge banner on the ’theater at the parade’ I felt so happy!

Toen we een sneak-peek van de foto te zien kregen, die het eind resultaat heeft gekregen (qua achtergrond en belichting) door een filter lens, was iedereen van het F for fashion team erg enthousiast, ik was zo onder de indruk van het resultaat! Dit is mijn meest prachtige shoot ooit, en de foto shoot waar ik het meest dankbaar voor ben. Ik kan niet uitleggen hoe geweldig het voelt, als iemand die voor het grootste deel van haar leven is gepest (ik ben hier vrij open over), om je gezicht jaren later op grote posters verspreid door je thuis stad (een van de grotere steden in Nederland) te zien. En niet alleen op een grote poster op verschillende plaatsen, maar het is ook te zien geweest in de krant, flyers, verschillende websites, maar ook op de grote poster van het theater aan de parade. Ik voelde me zo enthousiast!
