I received this dress as a gift from The Pretty Dress Company – a brand that I love working with for over two years already. The dresses are timeless, of good quality and beautiful for many occasions. Plus, they’re made and designed in England. I mainly wear Size 8 – EU 36 from this lovely British brand. The price of the dresses (separate from sale) varies from 150 to 285 euros per dress.

A ‘little black dress’ – is a must in the wardrobe of a classic lady. Anyone who has been following my style for some time knows that I love a classy style, combined with a style of ‘old money’, business and flamboyant colors. Casual, denim, sporty and oversized are absolutely far from my style. There isn’t a pair of blue jeans or a hoodie in my closet in all honesty.
I got myself a good friend during my participation at Miss World for Miss Netherlands in 2021, who also shares this classic style just like me – Brenda. It’s wonderful to have one friend in my group of friends who also wears this old money/classic style. Not everyone nowadays dares to wear this style every day out of fear that people will have an opinion about it. I have to say that I actually receive a lot of compliments by wearing these outfits. Because I radiate that I feel good in what I wear, and I don’t care what people think about it. I embrace my femininity and womanhood. I like to inspire others by being myself. I definitely don’t do it for compliments or for validation, but because I feel most confident in the clothes I like.

De jurken zijn tijdloos, van goede kwaliteit én prachtig voor een hoop gelegenheden. Bovendien zijn ze gemaakt en ontworpen in Engeland. Ik draag voornamelijk Size 8 – EU 36 van dit Britse merk. Wie mijn style al langer volgt, weet dat ik houd van een classy style, gecombineerd met een style van ‘old money’, business én flamboyante vormen/kleuren. Casual, denim, sportief en oversized zijn dan ook absoluut verre van mijn style. Er is geen blauwe spijkerbroek of hoodie in mijn kast te bekennen in alle eerlijkheid.

Heerlijk om één vriendin in mijn vriendengroep te hebben die ook deze old money/classic style draagt. Niet iedereen tegenwoordig durft deze style nog dagelijks te dragen, uit angst dat mensen er een mening over hebben. Ik moet zeggen dat ik juist enorm veel complimenten ontvang door deze outfits te dragen. Omdat ik uitstraal dat ik me goed voel in wat ik draag en het mij niet uitmaakt wat men er van vindt. Ik omarm mijn vrouwelijkheid en het vrouw zijn en inspireer graag door mijzelf te zijn. Ik doe het absoluut niet voor complimenten of voor bevestiging, maar omdat ik me het meest zelfverzekerd voel in de kleding die ik leuk vind.
