I received so many questions about this look, so here it is. 🤎 Without a doubt, this is my favourite dress of 2026. Brown isn’t a colour I usually wear, so I honestly wasn’t sure if it would suit me. But the moment I tried it on, I fell in love. I already know this is one of those dresses I’ll be reaching for over and over again. For years I wasn’t really into polka dots either, but somehow this summer they’ve completely won me over. They feel classic, feminine and timeless.

One of my favourite things about this dress is the beautiful detailing. You can lace it up at the back to create the perfect fit, and the lace bodice gives it a subtle lingerie-inspired look. It’s elegant, feminine and exactly the kind of style I love.
These photos were taken at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. A little disclaimer for those with a sharp eye: I edited out a few people and cars, so if you look closely, you might notice that a small part of the stone pavement around the Arc looks slightly different.

I was in Paris during the Bastille Day celebrations. This year, the main festivities took place on 13 July instead of 14 July, and watching the fireworks was truly unforgettable. I’ll be sharing more about that experience very soon. ✨

Ik kreeg zóveel vragen over deze look, dus hier is hij dan. 🤎 Dit is zonder twijfel mijn favoriete jurk van 2026. Bruin is eigenlijk een kleur die ik bijna nooit draag, dus ik wist vooraf niet of het me zou staan. Maar zodra ik hem aantrok, was ik verkocht. Ik weet nu al dat dit een jurk is die ik nog heel vaak ga dragen. Ook met stipjes had ik jarenlang niet zoveel, maar deze zomer vind ik ze ineens weer ontzettend mooi. Ze voelen klassiek, vrouwelijk en tijdloos.

Wat ik misschien nog wel het mooiste vind aan deze jurk, zijn de details. Je kunt hem aan de achterkant helemaal naar wens strakker snoeren, waardoor hij prachtig aansluit. De kanten bovenkant geeft subtiel een lingerie-effect, wat de jurk nét dat extra vrouwelijke en elegante gevoel geeft. Precies de stijl waar ik van houd.
