Outfit | Aphrodite

In the bustling streets of Tulum, where the atmosphere is infused with an eclectic mix of styles, I crafted my own unique look. While not necessarily a fan of the typical hippie style, I am drawn to the elegant boho aesthetic, with a hint of Greek goddess mixed in. It feels like the perfect place to experiment with my personal style, so I delved into my suitcase and donned an outfit I affectionately named ‘Aphrodite.’

Why that name? Because Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, beauty, and passion, came to mind as I assembled this outfit. It’s a tribute to the powerful femininity I feel when I wear it, surrounded by the natural beauty of Tulum.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t capture official outfit photos, but the reflection in the beautiful mirror of my Airbnb served as a lovely reminder of my time here. At Acacia Tulum, where I spent five nights in an enchanting oasis of luxury and tranquility, I felt perfectly at home documenting my travel adventures. The second mirror, by the way, is at Mia – my favorite beach club in Tulum.

In het bruisende Tulum, waar de sfeer doordrenkt is van een eclectische mix van stijlen, heb ik mijn eigen unieke look gecreëerd. Hoewel ik niet per se een fan ben van de typische hippie-stijl, voel ik me wel aangetrokken tot de elegante boho-stijl, met een vleugje Griekse godinnen in de mix. Het voelt als de perfecte plek om te experimenteren met mijn persoonlijke stijl, en dus dook ik in mijn koffer en trok ik een outfit aan die ik liefkozend ‘Aphrodite’ noemde.

Waarom die naam? Omdat Aphrodite, de Griekse godin van liefde, schoonheid en passie, in mijn gedachten opkwam toen ik deze outfit samenstelde. Het is een eerbetoon aan de krachtige vrouwelijkheid die ik voel wanneer ik me erin hul, omgeven door de natuurlijke pracht van Tulum.

Helaas kon ik geen officiële outfitfoto’s maken, maar de weerspiegeling in de prachtige spiegel van mijn Airbnb was een mooie herinnering aan mijn tijd hier. Bij Acacia Tulum, waar ik vijf nachten verbleef in een betoverende oase van luxe en rust, voelde ik me helemaal op mijn plek om mijn reisavonturen vast te leggen. De tweede spiegel is overigens bij Mia – mijn lievelings beach club in Tulum.
