Hi everyone! Earlier this month, I went on a spontaneous trip to Rome with my dear friend Aline. We met back in 2022 during my second trip to Mexico — a deeply emotional journey that turned out to be one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Meeting Aline at such a meaningful moment instantly created a deep bond between us. Ever since, we’ve stayed incredibly close. Even though she’s originally from Brazil, I honestly see her more often than some of my friends in the Netherlands. I just got back from a trip to Italy. It originally started as a trip planned to Ibiza, then Alicante, then Zakynthos and since 2 weeks it had become Palermo… well because; corona and changing country color codes … but the government has kept this one nicely yellow. I was finally able to spontaneously travel together with a sweet colleague who I have not known for very long, during our coincidentally similar date holiday. Almost all my travel plans for this year have failed due to color codes, lockdowns and people that cancelled, so it’s great to finally be able to leave. I got this dress from Loavies and found it perfect for a trip. These cute heels are from the (sale!) at Primark and I bought the necklace at My Jewellery. This outfit is from the 4th day. Italy travel diary | mini trip to Florence

2 weeks ago I went to Firenze (Florence) for 2 days. In the end, my very kind colleague Michelle went along on this city trip. From another colleague I got the tip to fly to Pisa and there take the train of about an hour to Florence. We certainly used this tip for the way back, but we went with the shuttle from the airport which takes a bit longer. Both travel ways are very cheap and fast, plus you see a bit of Tuscany.
