I have worn this jumpsuit dozens of times for years – in Outfit Puerto I also wear it in a different way. I think this outfit is super suitable for Tulum, the gold accessories complete it in my opinion. By the way, this is my last Tulum outfit post from this past trip. In any case, there will be 1-2 more travel diaries online from this trip and a travel diary soon from my 2nd foreign layover – Hurgada. I can’t wait to take you along in my travel stories! Hi everyone! I have had this super cute dress for almost 3 years – but unfortunately it has often hung in the closet because I didn’t have many occasions to wear it. This beautiful dress from Diva Catwalk in size M often went with me in my suitcase, but was often too warm to wear. This time the climate in Tulum was a lot cooler than the normal seasons I go, so I finally had the chance to wear it now. The dress gives me the same idea of the iconic dress of Margot Robbie (Naomi) in The Wolf of Wallstreet. I liked her style in that film so much for years that I wanted to have some of the same looks. The photos were again, taken at Meteora – who I often work with. I received this dress in 2021/22 as a collaboration with Diva Catwalk. In case you want to buy the same dress, it is now hugely discounted! [Read more…]
Brazil travel diary | Two week (partial) solo trip to Florianópolis part 2
Hi everyone! Welcome to my second Florianópolis travel post! In this part I will also list all the travel tips at the bottom of the travel post. I’m going to tell you in advance – that I thought this was the best part of the trip! If you have not yet read the previous part – I definitely recommend that you do so before you read this one. Jewellery Haul | Personalized Finaste jewelry
Hi everyone! This time, a special post. I have a super fun collaboration with Finaste! I regularly buy items from this beautiful jewelry brand – so this time a nice collaboration with them. I chose from the following items in this post – linked at the bottom – because I like luxury/delicate jewelry, and not too many heavy details. These beautiful items are timeless and scream luxury – which I really like. In addition to the luxurious appearance of these beautiful items, the prices are very competitive. I have to say that my preference is often pearls and gold, as this creates a very classy look and suits my skintone best. I’m not into rose, bronze or silver jewelry – only gold and white gold. Of course, Finaste has various colors of jewelry that you can choose from. [Read more…]
Outfit | Amor
Hi everyone! This is the first time in 9 years of blogging that I’ve made an outfit post with selfies, haha! I love this outfit and this location (Meteora – the boutique hostel I work with) so much that I took mirror pictures of it because I didn’t really have a good opportunity to take pictures of it outside or for someone else to take them to have it made. Funnily enough, this beautiful dress is from Shein! In combination with accessories from Asos. Both the jewelry and shoes. I love this look and have worn it several times in Mexico – the dress also went with me to Thailand last year. I notice that I want to buy less and less and want to combine more and style differently – and that is why there will be more ‘double’ outfit posts. I sometimes get nice items sponsored + I am grateful to have saved up so much clothing that I want to be much more frugal with it and increasingly prefer to focus on clothing that I can wear for a long time. I like clothes that remain nice for years rather than items that quickly go ‘out of fashion’ – although I always like to follow my own style without necessarily going along with what is a big trend.I think this chic boho look is a look that I like to wear to parties or dinners in Tulum. I think red and gold is a very nice combination. [Read more…]

Every time I come to Mexico I evolve. It feels like the place where my soul comes home and I feel the most confident, happy, grateful and powerful version of myself. Tulum is a place with a lot of magic and surprises that always come to mind when I follow my heart and go back. Cheers to the fact that this 4th time here won’t be my last. It is now my second home. Grateful for the fantastic network I have built here and how this place has become a second home for me since 2022. Whatever the circumstances and whatever comes my way – I haven’t let it stop me from going back, because the universe rewards those with a brave soul. In Tulum, I have the ultimate feeling of being myself. In my style, life and self. I also always wear my favorite outfits in Tulum. By the way, this beautiful location is Meteora Tulum – the boutique hostel I have been working with for a long time and was able to stay during my Tulum visit. Perfect location for photos!

Brazil travel diary | Two week (partial) solo trip to Florianópolis part 1
Hi everyone! Welcome to a new travel diary where I take you – largely solo – to a safe, clean, prosperous and beautiful part of Brazil – Florianópolis. If you are looking for a beautiful, safe, clean and adventurous travel destination in Brazil, this is your place. There are a lot of people I’ve spoken to on my past travels who often skip Brazil while backpacking through South America because of a ‘bad image’ – sadly (however, I personally also do not recommend Rio myself, while I absolutely love Brazil). I have therefore completely devoted this travel diary to a part of Brazil that I think you should definitely visit if you have the chance! And it also deserves much more fame. Florianópolis is a place known for its 40+ beaches, hiking and climbing routes, nature, surf spots, good food, oysters, fresh fish, safety and social life. A pearl in South America where you can relax and enjoy the real ‘Brazilian feeling’ – with a slightly European touch from the ‘descendants’ who have lived here for generations from, for example, Germany and Italy. Florianópolis is about an hour’s flight from São Paulo (Brazil), and a 2.5-hour flight from Buenos Aires (Argentina). [Read more…]

Hi everyone! For the first time in 4 years, I had an airline layover abroad. So far, in 6 years as a flight attendant, I have only stayed abroad twice for work (I don’t count Brussels). Many people think that all the travelling, as seen on my Instagram – is travelling as a flight attendant. The trips I post are trips that I mainly do because of the discount I get on tickets, but not for work. And secretly, I think staying abroad is the best part of flying – so it was great that it was on my roster for once. By the way, I crossed my 20th country off my list! I do not include the destinations that I only fly to/open for work, so 18 of the 20 countries are countries that I have not visited for work.

Outfit | Floripa
Last week I returned from Florianópolis – Brazil. Actually, immediately after the trip I became very ill. So sick that I checked with the doctor. I haven’t been as sick as I was last week in years. Apparently I had already developed stomach flu in Brazil, which manifested itself in the Netherlands. Fortunately, I have now almost recovered. Just in time for the holidays! I am very much looking forward to taking you along in my stories about Floripa soon. An incredibly safe, clean, fun and adventurous landscape in Brazil. I took the photos of this outfit around the Selina where I stayed for a few days. I also wore this nice outfit a few times in Tulum last year, but I only now took the time to take enough nice photos for an outfit post. [Read more…]
