Hi everyone, I just got back from Dubai for a while. After my work layover last year, I really wanted to go back. I have a 2.5 week vacation, and decided to go to Dubai for about 4,5 days. Two friends, including one that I would visit there, canceled last minute. I decided to go anyway, because I could stay with an former colleague in her airbnb, and she was also solo for part of her trip. It has been really fun! And I am happy to travel again after 7 months. I bought this neon dress last year, especially for my Dubai trip that I moved a few times. A large travel diary will soon be online, full of tips. [Read more…]
I went to Lagos in the Algarve with my good friend Michelle, this trip had been planned for months. In this travel diary I give tips and tell you what we have discovered, done and seen in this 3 day trip at the beginning of Oktober. It sounds short, but by reading you will see how much we were able to see, do and relax in such a short time. The weather was clear and between 25-30 degrees all day, great!
Hi everyone! More than a week ago I left for Portugal for 3 days with a good friend of mine. It was really nice to be away for 3 days. It may sound very short, but we have done, seen and relaxed very much. I can’t wait to tell you much more about this journey. I shot this outfit at 3 different locations. This beautiful blue satin dress is nice for a chic dinner, but I thought it was suitable for this beautiful journey. The color is as blue as the sea. To get to these places I really had to climb a lot, on heels haha, but I am happy with the end result. Places where I shot it are Cabo de São Vicente, Ponta de Piedade and Praia do Camilo. These places are unbelievably beautiful, much more beautiful than I can capture with my camera. Recommendation to visit! [Read more…]
Hi everyone! I have just returned from a fantastic trip to the Algarve with one of my very best friends – Michelle. I felt very happy and really enjoyed the 3 days in beautiful southern Portugal. It felt like a gift. Soon, I will tell you a lot more about this in my upcoming travel diary. There are a lot of travel outfit posts coming online as well! Stay tuned. When I look at my photos and edit them from behind my laptop while relaxing with a cup of coffee, I still feel those butterflies which the trip gave me!
I just got back from a trip to Italy. It originally started as a trip planned to Ibiza, then Alicante, then Zakynthos and since 2 weeks it had become Palermo… well because; corona and changing country color codes … but the government has kept this one nicely yellow. I was finally able to spontaneously travel together with a sweet colleague who I have not known for very long, during our coincidentally similar date holiday. Almost all my travel plans for this year have failed due to color codes, lockdowns and people that cancelled, so it’s great to finally be able to leave. I got this dress from Loavies and found it perfect for a trip. These cute heels are from the (sale!) at Primark and I bought the necklace at My Jewellery. This outfit is from the 4th day. Last week I went to Malaga with my good friend and colleague Michelle. This city trip was a last minute decision, so that made it even more fun. We decided to relax for 3 days in a much warmer city to catch up, because we hadn’t seen each other for a few months. On March 4 we flew to Malaga with a very nice crew from our home base Eindhoven Airport, Standby. I had a three-day weekend, so as I had done before, a city trip suited perfectly. We arrived in the evening so we changed our outfit in our AirBnb apartment and then went out for dinner. By the way, our Airbnb was called Malaga City Breaks. What quickly struck me was the enormous hospitality of this city. [Read more…]
I have just returned from a 3-day spontaneous trip in my weekend with my good friend Michelle. In 2018 we also went to Florence together. The trip really recharged me. We ate, drank, walked and cycled a lot and took many photos. The weather was really great! It was around 22 degrees celcius. I can consider myself as a lucky person because I had forgotten my camera in the taxi, and because the taxi driver had given us a business card, I was able to call him in time to head back to the airport. When I opened the taxi door, when he came back after my phone call, the camera was still there on the seat and I thanked him a hundred times for returning asap. THANK HEAVENS. [Read more…]
Welcome to my first layover diary and my second Stewardess post! As I have told in my other post, my work is my passion and I like to share some nice things about it. About a week and a half ago I was allowed to go to Dubai for 3 days with a nice crew, flying from Amsterdam. I already knew the cabin crew colleagues from Eindhoven and Amsterdam, so that was of course extra fun. Dubai had long been on my wish list. The airline where I work for mainly has ‘turnarounds’, so a layover is of course a very nice extra for a lot of people. Many people certainly look forward to it like me. Previous September I also had a nice layover in the city of Groningen. [Read more…]
A few days ago I had my first layover abroad. Dubai is a cool city! I was able to spend 3 days with a great crew and one of my very best friends who lives an hour away from Dubai. Where I am standing is at La Mer, where we had lunch with the girls, recommended by my good friend Roos. This nice dress is well suited for days when the temperature is around 20 degrees. Since it would be around 20 degrees in Dubai at the time I would visit, I thought it would be great to take it with me. [Read more…]
