Hi everyone! For the first time in 4 years, I had an airline layover abroad. So far, in 6 years as a flight attendant, I have only stayed abroad twice for work (I don’t count Brussels). Many people think that all the travelling, as seen on my Instagram – is travelling as a flight attendant. The trips I post are trips that I mainly do because of the discount I get on tickets, but not for work. And secretly, I think staying abroad is the best part of flying – so it was great that it was on my roster for once. By the way, I crossed my 20th country off my list! I do not include the destinations that I only fly to/open for work, so 18 of the 20 countries are countries that I have not visited for work.

Outfit | Floripa
Last week I returned from Florianópolis – Brazil. Actually, immediately after the trip I became very ill. So sick that I checked with the doctor. I haven’t been as sick as I was last week in years. Apparently I had already developed stomach flu in Brazil, which manifested itself in the Netherlands. Fortunately, I have now almost recovered. Just in time for the holidays! I am very much looking forward to taking you along in my stories about Floripa soon. An incredibly safe, clean, fun and adventurous landscape in Brazil. I took the photos of this outfit around the Selina where I stayed for a few days. I also wore this nice outfit a few times in Tulum last year, but I only now took the time to take enough nice photos for an outfit post. [Read more…]
Outfit | Blanco
Earlier this month, I went to visit one of my best friends in Valencia. At that moment it was the 4th time that I visit Valencia. I have been thinking about moving to Valencia for years, because it is easier as a flight attendant, and I am still in the Netherlands a lot at that point. But let’s see what the future brings! I will soon tell you about this and my 2022 trip to Valencia in a new blog. In those travel diaries, you will also find my tips about the destination.

Argentina travel diary (Extra long) | Solo trip to Buenos Aires
Hi everyone! Welcome to the continuation of my original Brazil travel diary. In this travel diary, I will share with you my experiences and tips from my unplanned and spontaneous solo trip to Buenos Aires in Argentina. I was also really looking forward to this spontaneous trip, which I also hadn’t planned when I went. Going without a plan and without preparation sometimes brings unexpected, fun surprises. Brazil travel diary | One week in Rio de Janeiro
Hi everyone! Last month, I traveled to Brazil for the first time. I met a friend in Tulum last year, who I kept in touch with almost daily from then on. Brazil started to tickle my ‘wanderlust’ more and more. In this travel diary I have typed up all my travel tips and ‘diaries’ from my days in Brazil for you. [Read more…]
Outfit | Vermelho
Hi everyone! This beautiful place is Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro. I thought this place was definitely worth a visit, although you do have to queue if you want a photo by the water. Aline and I took most of the photos on the top floor. You must have bought something in the souvenir shop to gain access to the roof – by the way. [Read more…]
Outfit | Sugarloaf
This beautiful place is on the Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil. I thought this was one of the most beautiful places during my stay in Brazil and I definitely recommend you visit it. We paid about 35-40 euros for a ticket for the cable cart – I think it is definitely worth a visit. The view is very beautiful – and I will show this in more detail in my next Brazil trip post.

Outfit | Rio
Hi everyone! Another new travel post – Or actually, a travel outfit before new travel diaries come online. I received this super cute jumpsuit as a gift from Meahdore earlier this year. It barely takes up any space in my suitcase, the fabric is beautiful – slightly satin look – plus, it can be worn and knotted in multiple ways. I also took this jumpsuit to Thailand.

Thailand travel diary | 6 days in Krabi, Phangnga & Phuket part 2
Welcome back to Part 2! I knew it was rain season, but I didn’t expect how extremely rainy it would be this whole trip. Minor spoiler; the rest of the journey was nothing but incessant rain! So take the rainy season in July seriously. Basically, we could do almost nothing today. This post is mainly pictures of the few things we could do, because we were literally ‘stuck’ in the rain. Furthermore, I think Thailand is a beautiful country with incredibly warm, sweet people! The hospitality and safety here are very nice. [Read more…]
